Why I became a book mentor

book mentor summer challengeAre you working on your book this summer?

I find many people shift their focus this time of year.

You may have some downtime and use this opportunity to focus on your business and your books.

So I thought I’d take a moment to give you an update of what’s coming up and how we can help, and share a podcast where I was recently interviewed by a former client.

Coming soon!

The next couple of months are busy for us. Many new clients are starting out on their book journey, two are due to be published soon, and other clients are focusing on their marketing and Amazon launches.

Yesterday, we started the 10,000 Word Summer Book Challenge. If you missed signing up, the first webinar was recorded, so you’re welcome to join us for a month to get support and to focus on your book. Click here to find out more.

We’re also gearing up for our writing retreat in the beautiful Andalucian Mountains in South West Spain – not surprisingly one of my favourite events of the year!! We go on Thursday 21 September, and if you know that one of our remaining places has your name on it, please let me know by Monday 7 August as we will be confirming numbers next week.

We can take 2 more people, and after this time, places can be requested but not guaranteed. Remember that this is a great opportunity to work on your book, get some sun, have a fully inclusive break, and it’s a tax-deductible expense!

Although this will be my last live event for a while, I’m delighted to be supporting other people’s events over the coming months. These include a telesummit later this month, a business expo, two business conferences, and a couple of podcasts and a radio interview, and I’ll be sharing more information soon. I’ve also interviewed three of my amazing clients recently and will be sharing these podcast interviews over the coming weeks.

Talking about podcasts, I was recently interviewed by one of my former clients, Gina Visram. You can listen to our conversation here. Gina was instrumental in my decision to become a book mentor, and you’ll find out why when you listen to the interview.
